AREAS OF SPECIAL FOCUS
Alison has a passion in caring for others and enjoys helping people in their walk of life. She believes each person has a story and strives to help turn their struggles into healing. Alison views her role as a counselor to guide others into unlocking their God-given potential. She has a holistic approach to her care and exemplifies mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. She knows that counseling is her calling and has a heart for those struggling with depression and anxiety, self-image, harmful thoughts and behaviors, relationship conflict, trauma, and identity issues. It is often difficult for one to recognize internal pain, and know when to seek help, Alison’s desire is to educate others on the process on counseling and how to work through issues of the heart. 2 Corinthians 12:9 says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness…” She hopes that through counseling, others can feel and experience the grace of God.
Alison works hard to create trust between herself and her clients. She strives to provide an empathetic and non-judgmental environment and promotes honesty and openness in the therapeutic relationship.
