Through training and experience, Dustin has gained a deep understanding of conflict, tragedy, strength, and growth solutions.
He has personally overcome numerous obstacles in life and been blessed to help others achieve their growth goals. He has experience and desire to help strengthen marriages, assist with divorce recovery, and work through times of grief. Dustin offers family support for problems such as depression and anxiety. He understands the challenges that face men such as change of life, sobriety, and masculinity.
Dustin approaches the counseling process in consideration of the client’s spiritual, cultural, and family background. Family roles, patterns, age, social, and economic status are taken into consideration. With his experience in the area of marriage and families, he provides counseling services to help people discover peace and understanding in their lives and to be in the place that God has designed for them.

A SEASONED COUNSELOR
In his graduate counseling program, he interned at Vista Health services in Bentonville, Arkansas where he led group therapy and individual counseling sessions. While interning at Vista’s outpatient program, he helped children and youth gain interpersonal and communication tools to cope with and excel in school, while overcoming difficult family environments and personal circumstances. In private practice, he works with adolescents and adults dealing with personal growth, anger, anxiety, depression, abuse, communication, and identity obstacles.

Since his 2001 whole-heart commitment to living as a follower of Christ, Dustin has pursued his development as a Christian man who exhibits a solid biblical-worldview. He values the sharpening of character as iron sharpens iron. He shares in and pursues the riches found in building up God’s Kingdom. His passion and energy is marked by his gift of encouragement. He is dedicated to helping others experience God’s glory and riches.
COMMITTED TO FAMILY
Dustin and his wife have been married since 2008 and are enjoying their life living in Pasadena. He and his wife enjoy spending time with family and friends while viewing art exhibits, snowboarding, and surfing. From his successes in overcoming difficult family experiences as a child and youth, he has a passion for encouraging healthy relationships and passing on those keys to success. With knowledge of the richness found in a healthy family system, he values personal growth and team building while utilizing his experiences as teaching tools to pass on to his clients.
