David is committed to helping individuals and families break through the psychological and emotional barriers that keep them from living the abundant life God wants for them. He especially has a great concern for today's families and the challenges they face.

His desire is to help families work toward strengthening their relationships with one another, and aid individuals gain victory over problems such as depression, anxiety, and self-defeating thoughts and behaviors.

A SEASONED COUNSELOR

David has experience working with small children, adolescents, as well as adults. Most of his work with children and adolescents has dealt with problems such as conduct disorder, depression, anxiety, parent-child relational problems, divorce, child abuse, drug abuse, problems with school, encounters with the legal system, and thoughts of suicide. David is experienced in working with adults in areas such as divorce and marital problems, family life cycle, life transition, blended families, alcohol and drug abuse, depression, anxiety, life skills, and problems related to stages of life.

COMMITTED TO MINISTRY

David currently serves as Treasurer for his Church. David served as a full-time missionary with Youth With A Mission. Before pursuing his education he received his missionary training in Nashville, TN. After his training, he spent time in Jamaica, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Mexico, and several U.S. states, where he was involved in evangelism and working with various churches and ministries. David sees his work with Turning Point Counseling as a ministry to God's people, and an opportunity to communicate God's grace and truth to those who do not know Him as their personal Lord and Savior.

PROFESSIONAL SPEAKER

As a missionary, David had many opportunities to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to large groups of people. He has also spoken to church congregations and youth groups. David's desire is to continue to be used by God to communicate His truth.

COMMITTED TO FAMILY

David and his wife have been married for seven years, and have a daughter. They enjoy traveling, learning about and observing wildlife, and being involved in church activities together.
