AREAS OF SPECIAL FOCUS

Alicia enjoys working with Adults, couples, adolescents and children. She also provides a safe place to receive therapeutics services for Pastors and other leaders within the church. Her areas of expertise are; but not limited to the following areas:

Included in the types of therapy offered are individual, group, and family therapy. With Christ we have victory over life trials and circumstances. Regardless of a person’s past mistakes or experiences, God will heal and restore.

A SEASONED COUNSELOR

Alicia’s experience includes specialized mental health services and psychotherapy for young adults ages 17-25. She has assisted young adults in accessing crucial community resources specific to their mental health needs and associated with this stage of development. These services include (but are not limited to) housing, academic programs, legal support, public guardian services and other community support programs. 

She has administered assessments and emergency evaluations for individuals and families. When appropriate referred clients for medication evaluations and medication support services. These services include linkage with the Juvenile Probation Department, acute psychiatric hospitals, child welfare services, local physicians, community clinics, and schools.

COMMITTED TO MINISTRY

Alicia’s passion for counseling grew out of her work as Administrative and Interim Pastor positions.  She has done spiritual counseling for hundreds and is grateful for the opportunity to integrate her faith in Jesus Christ with her education to bring healing and reconciliation in the life of God’s people. She is committed to praying for her clients and seeking God’s direction in their healing process.

PROFESSIONAL SPEAKER

Alicia has led workshops in various topics such as:  Discovering your S.H.A.P E. for Ministry, Prepare/Enrich for engaged and married couples and other relational topics including Single, Single Again, Surviving an Affair and much more. In addition she has been the featured speaker at women’s conference around the country.

COMMITTED TO FAMILY

Alicia loves spending her free time with her husband and family. She enjoys Disneyland and loves to play board games with her kids. Additional hobbies are reading and going to the movies.
