I put off getting help for my marriage for YEARS! When I was ready, he wasn't. When he wanted to go, I didn't. I always thought you both have to want the marriage to work for counseling to do any good. Then I heard that one person can make a difference in a relationship. I was skeptical but I gave it a shot. I learned that while I can't change my husband's behavior, I could change how I respond to his behavior and that's where you were such a big help. You coached me on new ways of responding and I was astonished how my husband began to change and our marriage improve. Thank you for all your prayerful help. - Angie B.

Thank you for all your help. Beginning each session with prayer really helped me put my mind and heart at ease and to focus on our task of healing. You have been a true Godsend. God Bless you! - Nancy G.

Thank you for being so sensitive. When I came for counseling I asked you to be sensitive to the fact that my husband wasn't a Christian. As you counseled us, I knew your counseling approach was clearly Christian, yet you were able to "tone it down" so as to not scare off my husband. It made all the difference in our marriage. - Martha D.

I've always wanted a family, but after years of trying we weren't able to conceive. Counseling gave me the courage to investigate other options. After much heart wrenching effort, we finally adopted. Now I have the family I've always wanted. Thank you for walking with us on this painful and joyful journey. - Jackie. M.

I'm was embarrassed to admit it, but I had lost control over my two year old. He was running the house. Nothing I tried did any good. Even spanking didn't work. I was at the end of my rope. I overcame my childhood admonishment to "Never go outside the family for help." and gave Turning Point a call. I was thrilled to discover how quickly I got back in control and have a happier child. Counseling really made the difference. Thank you, thank you! - Brenda O.

Our marriage was at the brink and when we came into see you we were hopeless. In our first session you provided what we needed most-hope. Then you gave us the skills and tools to turn our marriage around. We thank you and our children thank you! - Roger and Candy S.

I really appreciate the fact that you are a Christian organization. Even though my insurance carrier would not cover your services, getting help from a Christian counselor was much more important to me...and I wasn't disappointed! - Mary A.

I've been afraid of flying and heights all my life. When I needed to visit a family member who really needed me, I felt stuck. To get there I had to fly. I turned to Turning Point and to my amazement, my lifelong problem was resolved. I was able to be there for my family because Turning Point was there for me! Thank you. - Mike Z.

My wife had been depressed for most of our married life...and it was getting worse. We saw many counselors over the years but no luck. Then we heard about Turning Point from a friend. We came and found that you guys are truly Christian and skilled. After several months, you gave my wife and my marriage back to me. I can't thank you enough. - Bill P.

My plan was to wait for the kids to graduate from H.S. and then I would leave my marriage. I had no desire to repair it. Then one day in Church I was challenged by my pastor's message and I decided to give Turning Point a try. I had very little expectations of anything changing. Boy was I surprised! After several months of hard work on both me and my husband's part, we began to see some hope for our marriage. Eventually, we were able to attend our daughter's wedding with joy and integrity. We were able to say "Yes!" to marriage once again. Thank you, Turning Point. - Betty J.

I can't tell you how frustrated we were with our teenage son. We lost total control! We had done so well with him when he was younger, but now he was completely different. It was amazing how little we knew about raising a teenager and we were even more amazed how quickly we could learn what we needed to get back in control. I was very surprised but pleased that you connected with our son and really helped put our family back together. We still have our moments, but it's so much more peaceful. My wife and I thank you. - Jim P.
