Do you need a counselor?

Key warning signs indicating the need for professional Christian counseling:

• Persistent problems that are not being resolved

• Lack of communication, withdrawal, and isolation

• Angry conflict, verbal or physical abuse

• Persistent depression or anxiety

• Suicidal thoughts

• Severe mood or attitude changes

• Lack of energy

• Decreased sexual energy

• Declining grades in school

• Emotional outbursts

• Major life cycle changes such as marriage, birth of first child, adolescence, empty nest, and aging parents

• Major life crises such as a death of a loved one, job loss, chronic illness, divorce, terminal illness, a child who's run away

• If you're facing any of the above, it's very important that you seek at least an initial consultation to discuss what we can do to help you--the earlier the better. It's always less time consuming and less expensive to obtain counseling early in the process. As you are probably already aware, the longer you wait to access counseling the longer it takes to experience the changes that are needed.

If you're facing any of the above and your spouse is unwilling to come to counseling, make an appointment anyway. It's simply amazing what can be done with just one partner to make significant changes in your marriage and family. Christ has gifted each of us to serve the Body and we're here to serve you with Christian care. Call today!

On the contrary, we speak as men approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please men but God, who tests our hearts.
