AREAS OF SPECIAL FOCUS
Being involved in secure and healthy relationships is essential to our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Research is confirming we are designed to connect with others from birth, yet many people struggle with how to be in meaningful relationships with others. Therapy is the safe place where you can overcome this difficulty and learn to intimately connect with the significant people in your life. Rebecca’s passion is to see others reclaim hope and thrive in the life and relationships they desire.
Whether it is you or someone you love that is dealing with anxiety, depression, marital conflict, or parenting an out of control teen, change is possible. Rebecca enjoys working with children, teens, military families, ADD/ADHD, high conflict couples, seniors, Missionary/Pastoral families, issues of trauma, domestic violence, women’s support, cross-cultural adjustment, and identity.
Rebecca has found that each client comes with a unique set of experiences. With this in mind, she focuses on joining the client in their journey of exploring and understanding how their past interpersonal relationships have impacted their emotional development, and continue to impact their current relationships. Rebecca is trained in a Psychodynamic tradition, but uses a variety of modalities including Attachment Theory, Emotionally Focused Theory, and Cognitive Behavioral Theory to meet the individual needs of her clients.
