Larry has a strong desire to see the healing power of the Holy Spirit at work in the lives of individuals, couples, and families, utilizing a combination of God’s Word and professional therapeutic approaches. Larry embraces a primarily Cognitive Behavioral approach to therapy, working with individuals, couples, and families to reshape thinking about, and behavior toward, self and relationships.

A SEASONED COUNSELOR
Larry has several years of experience as a therapist and has worked with individuals, couples, and families in settings ranging from school sites to private practice. Much of his experience is in working with substance abuse and dependence challenges. This has given him the opportunity to work with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, co-dependence, anger, domestic violence, sexual abuse, and parenting challenges.

In addition, Larry has work with groups on anger management, domestic violence, and parenting education. He has been responsible for supervising substance abuse treatment programs and overseeing staff counselors and worked closely with County Probation, State Parole, and Country AOD offices on a regular basis. 

COMMITTED TO MINISTRY
Larry has been very involved in church related activities from an early age. He is an active participant in his church and serves where he can be an effective servant of Christ. He has participated and served in ministries including children and youth activities, men’s ministries, music ministries, and technical support.
