- Faith Belief and Church (We are looking for Evangelical Protestant Christian Counselors)
a. Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ?
b. What church are you currently attending?
c. Are you actively involved in your local church?
Would your church or churches in your denomination be open to becoming a TPC satellite location, allowing you to counsel from their campus? We may not have locations available in area. If your church, or a church in your area, is interested, please continue.
- Degree and Experience
For Interns
a. Have you completed your graduate counseling degree?
b. Do you have your registered intern number from the BBS?
For all Inquires
c. Do you have at least 6 months to 1 year experience of Professional Counseling?
d. Have you done couples/marital counseling? If yes, how much?
e. Have you done fee based counseling?
- Required Hours, Staff Meeting and Supervision
a. A required staff meeting for Licensed and Interns is on the first Wednesday of every month in Chino from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. If you are an intern you *must attend supervision each Wednesday - there are two groups from 9:00 am – 11:00 and from 11:00 - 1:00 pm in Chino. (You will be placed in the group that has availability)
*If you cannot attend our supervision a TPC APPROVED individual supervisor may be hired at your financial responsibility.

- Vacation and Time Off
a. You must be able to work the first 6 months without any vacation or time off. After the first 6 months you are eligible for 1 week
b. After 1st full year you are eligible for 2 weeks; (non-consecutive, must be taken in separate months)
c. After 2nd year of employment you are eligible for 3 weeks; (2 weeks consecutive, 1 week separate and in different month)
d. All vacation and time off is NON-paid time

- Availability
a. Are you available a minimum of 15-20 hours per week (three evenings 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm or two evenings and a Saturday)?
Note: We are not opposed to you developing a daytime caseload. We would like for you to begin your time with TPC with hours of availability where clients seem to be the most eager to come in for counseling, which is usually in the evenings
b. TPC's first goal is a minimum is 12 counseling sessions per week

- Caseload
a. Are you self motivated and willing to work on building your own caseload?
You will be responsible to build your own case load
b. Are you willing to commit to developing a caseload in 4-6 months?
(The time can vary depending on how focused you are on the process )
c. Do you have the means to meet your financial obligations during this period of growth?

- Computer and System Requirements
You must have one of three options available for calendar and email updates. Daily access to your computer is required for emails and other communications
a. A home PC with internet access or
b. Palm device (Smart phone) or
c. A wireless internet connection on your laptop
d. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS - Vista or above on a PC and a Mac operating system needs to be above version 10.4. If you do NOT have one of the OS listed above you would be required to upgrade. You also MUST have MS Office 2007 or above. (If you do not have MS Office, it will be your responsibility to purchase it before employment.)

Are you willing to do all of your out-patient counseling as an employee of TPC?
(This is NOT a 1099 position)
