A SEASONED COUNSELOR
Ashlee has experience working with clients who have been through a case with the Department of Children and Family Services. Through this experience she has learned how to help others struggling through overwhelming circumstances with a realistic and positive outlook. She has also had the opportunity to lead many groups covering topics such as anger management, parenting, and domestic violence. Seeing clients reunited with their family and children through therapy because of their hard work in session has been one of the most rewarding parts of Ashlee’s work so far.
COMMITTED TO MINISTRY
Ashlee regularly attends her local church and is actively involved in a Young Adults Fellowship Group. She is looking forward to joining more projects in the community through the church so that her service for Christ can continue to grow both through her work as a therapist and as part of the body.
A PROFESSIONAL SPEAKER
Ashlee has led groups on the following topics:
Ashlee has experience running a variety of groups and is confident in her ability to provide information in an area of need that is not listed above
COMMITTED TO FAMILY
Ashlee comes from a family of four; her mother, father, and younger sister. She has a Cocker Spaniel named Charlie who enjoys cuddling. She loves to read and spend quality time with her loved ones. Often this will include taking a walk on a nice day or going on an adventure to find the best cup of coffee.
Ashlee believes family is made up of complicated relationships that inform the way we live our lives. We learn how to navigate life issues based on the way we have seen or heard our family members solve similar situations. While some of these patterns are beneficial, some are not and keep us trapped in a cycle of dysfunction. Therapy is a chance to closely examine what we want to keep and what we need to let go.
