Andrew has a passion for helping individuals that are hurting and guiding them into feeling better and reaching a healthier state. He has a special interest in the process of therapy, which includes building a healthy therapeutic relationship with the client. Andrew thinks humor is an important part of the counseling experience, and indeed life in general, because it is important to remember not to take ourselves to seriously. In addition, he is interested in how our thoughts effect our emotions and behavior. His clinical training and his faith in Christ gives him guidance in his work with the people he helps.

A SEASONED COUNSELOR
Andrew has experience working with people who have experienced sexual trauma, clients who have come from dysfunctional homes, clients who are clinically depressed or anxious, and clients in troubled relationships. Andrew has worked in both an outpatient mental health clinic where he treated patients with moderate to serve mental disorders. In addition, he has worked in a forensic clinical setting where he treated clients on parole. Andrew focuses on adults of all ages, including couples. His special interest are in the following areas:

Andrew has served the church through public evangelism, scriptural reading as part of church service, and has served as church librarian at his former church. He and his wife has recently completed new members class at Bethany Church and is looking forward to joining the married couples group and serving his new congregation

COMMITTED TO FAMILY
Andrew has been married to his beautiful wife Amanda, since 2005. They have a son in elementary school who is a wonderful, bright, strong child with a great personality whom they love very dearly. Andrew believes that meeting his wife is the best thing that ever happened to him. Much of the success he has enjoyed in life is due to her support. Their faith in Christ and commitment to each other is the source of their happy home. He looks forward to what God has in-store for his family as they continue life’s journey together.
